Hey sis,
We are so happy to have you stop by to share your prayer request with us. Matthew 18:20 Says “where two or three are gathered in my name, I am in their midst.” We love to bear your burden with you and invite the assistance of the Holy Spirit to settle that issue of concern. But first, in order to get your prayers answered, you must be born again.
WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE BORN AGAIN?
John 3:3-8. “Jesus answered and said to him, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”Nicodemus said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born?”Jesus answered, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but cannot tell where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who is born of the Spirit.”
From this scripture, we see that Jesus emphasizes the need to be born of the spirit. To be born of the spirit means to stay away from sin and all sinful desires (Galatians 5:19-21), to acknowledge Jesus Christ as your Lord and savior, that he came from God in human form, died on the Cross for our sins, resurrected on the third day and now he reigns with the Father in Heaven. To be born again means to allow the fruits of the Holy spirit (love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness. Galatians 5:22)manifest in you so that you can bear fruits of righteousness and reign with God in heaven (2Timothy 2:12).
WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO BECOME BORN AGAIN.
This is simple. Just believe in your heart and confess it with your mouth. Romans 10:8-11 “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart”(that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.”
With this understanding, if you are set to have a personal relationship with Jesus or maybe you were once born again but along the way the challenges of life made you loose your faith, you need to rededicate your life to God to have have your prayers answered. Please say this prayer with faith and conviction.
“Lord Jesus, I come before you today, I acknowledge that I am a sinner. I believe that you died for me and that by your blood i am redeemed. I believe that you rose again and are seated at the right hand of God the father. This day, Lord I want you in my life. I am tired of the way I am living, thinking I can handle all things on my own. I recognize that I have no strength and on my own I can do nothing. That is why I come before you. Wipe away my name from the book of death and write it in the book of life. Give me your grace never to go back to my former life but to live for you alone. Thank you lord for hearing my prayer. In Jesus Name. Amen”
WOOOOOWWW!! Congratulations. You are now born again and a member of this beautiful family. You are a new creature in Christ. All old things have passed away and all things are now new. (2Corinthians 5:17). Your sins have been forgotten for God does not keep a record of sins. (Psalms 130:3). So begin to walk, talk and live in dominion like the child of God you are.
