Hello dear readers, we are rounding off with the reawakening series and we hope you have enjoyed reading all of our content on the subject and are ready to reawaken that awesome person in you. If you are yet to begin the series, please do well to look through the previous articles on this or any topic you might like or need to read. \u00a0Today we will be talking about redefining ourselves in the wake of our reawakening. Before we start I would like you to return to the title and fit your name in the space marked for it. You can also write the entire title down on a piece of paper, your note pad or anything you have beside you while you are reading this. Just for affirmation.<\/p>\n

I started writing this article four weeks ago. When I think back on that day seated at my study table, mostly blank and staring at the topic on my screen, I asked God;<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u2019what am I to write here?\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n

I didn\u2019t realize that God was going to use my own life\u2019s events to inspire this article. Prior to this moment, many events in my life were already signaling a desperate need for reawakening as a Christian and as a human being. But I was so wrapped up in the myriad things I like to occupy myself with to realize that. A few days after I started writing this article, almost all of my fears started coming true and it felt like all hell had broken loose. I felt lost, numb and was entering a very dark place. I eventually decided to talk with a friend and she said, \u2018maybe God is giving you a chance to reinvent yourself.\u2019 That statement was for the most part very annoying, but as I thought about it over time, I knew it was true. Maybe in your life, your call to reawakening is nothing as drastic, and maybe for you, it speaks to a different aspect of your life but I believe that for us to truly arise from our slumber, a redefinition of self is in order.<\/p>\n

Seasons come and go and by this very fact, change is inevitable. Each season of your life needs you to adapt and change. Sometimes we do not even want these changes so this is not always an easy thing to do. However, I like to believe that God wants to see you grow and change with every experience and season, blooming into your most purposeful self at every turn. God spoke creation out of nothing; I think it is safe to say he is the master of defining and redefining. Today we are not talking about GOD only, it\u2019s more about you and this reawakening you have, are, and will face in your life. Change is the one constant thing in the life of a human because of how unpredictable we are. Every painful or joyful or seemingly stagnant season in our lives is a chance to redefine ourselves. This is a fact that often escapes us as we are all wrapped up the emotions and trust me\u2026I know those stormy emotions.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

SO HOW DO WE REDEFINE OURSELVES?<\/strong><\/p>\n
