Faith for Exploits

Many of us are passionate about doing things to impact our generation. We find a lot of young people becoming entrepreneurs, getting new leadership roles at their job sites, amongst others. On the other hand, it is not everyone who has a great idea that becomes successful. Even those who have great ideas and appear to be successful have some set-backs. It is already July, the beginning of the second half of the year. The question is not whether you will see the second half of the year, because we are already in it, but the question should rather be “how will I live my life in this second half of the year to experience all that God has in store for me?”

It all begins with faith in God. Daniel 11:32 “Those who do wickedly against the covenant he shall corrupt with flattery; but the people who know their God shall be strong and they shall carryout great exploits.”

It takes faith to do everything we have ever planned to do. One thing we ought to be aware of is the fact that we are fully equipped to achieve whatever we desire to achieve. Most of us spend our time praying, asking God to equip us, telling God we don’t feel we are ready for this or that but we know He wants us to do it so He should give us grace. Other times, we keep blaming the devil for our laziness. It may displease you to know that the only person who is standing between your dreams and reality/accomplishment is you.

2 Peter 1:3 “…as His divine power has given us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue.”

Ephesians 2:10 “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God had prepared in advance for us to do.”

John 15:16 “ You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit, fruit that will last…”

As the unfolds, forget about the things you did not accomplish in the first six months. Forge ahead to achieve the things God has prepared in advance for you to do. God will not come down from heaven to do certain things on earth. That’s why He placed you as His hands on earth. Is it starting your own business, starting a small bible study group, meeting new people, defending the rights of people, whatever is that desire in your heart, grace is already available for you to step out and do it. Stop praying only and start acting. Most Christians pray more than they act. Hence, their lives remain in stagnation and they hide under the scripture “blessed are those who are persecuted for the sake of Christ.” Whereas they are their own persecution.

Dear friend, it is time to break out and break forth. God created you to bear fruits. What fruits have you borne this year in your spiritual life, career, relationships, etc. Probably you don’t have the financial stamina to venture into new projects. It all begins with Faith if you want to live in the world of exploits. “Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Hebrews 11:1. Though you have not seen the finances, believe that you will do what you have to do, that lack of finances cannot stop you and take little steps. You will be surprised at how God will give you light in the form of ideas in how to get the finances. It can begin by making a business plan and showing a few people, talking to others about partnerships, you may need to network more, work on your public speaking, digital marketing strategies, etc. Try to figure out what the problem is and take steps to solve it. Borrowing the words of Bishop Oyedepo, “a closed mouth is a closed destiny”. As you do so, remember that God will bless the work of your hands to yield fruits. You cannot bring empty hands to God and expect him to bless nothing.

We look forward to hearing your testimonies.

Enjoy the next half of the year as you step out in faith to do exploits.
