“Salvation is Personal”

Imagine after all this toil, with acquaintances, family and friends, you discover you made it to heaven alone.

How will you feel? Salvation cannot be personal because God says he wants all to be saved. If it were not so Christ before going up wouldn’t have told his disciples to go out preaching again to make people his disciples. He should have told them, good job, just Stay and wait for your reward( eternal salvation).
This phrase has often been used by two group of persons;
• Unbelievers use it to resist the word of God that calls them through persons to repentance.
• Believers sometimes use it because they have become too lazy to execute their task as ambassadors of Christ. They try to avoid the troubles of preaching the gospel to those who are far from the faith. The bible says Heaven rejoices over one soul that repents. Meaning God wants us all to be saved.
What efforts do you make to ensure that someone living in sin around you repents? .
How often have we used this phrase salvation is personal?
God gives us an even stricter warning. In Ezekiel 3:16 following. Like Prophet Ezekiel he has made us keepers of all his people. If we fail to warn those who do wrong around us and they die in sin, we will be held responsible for their death.
Given that the world we live in today is so full of evil that many now accept wrong to be right. As ambassadors of Christ, we should choose to stand for the truth even if we will become unpopular. We should ask God’s spirit to direct us to not only work for our salvation but to burden ourselves with the duty of telling people wrong is wrong even if it is done in good fate. God being on our side we are going to make heaven in millions.
