Take The Risk Rather Than Compromise

There are many times when the pressure becomes too heavy, we feel like giving up, compromising our faith and the virtues we believe in. It seems like you are a complete failure if you don’t follow the ways of the world. Doubt sets in and we begin to ask ourselves why we trust God so much and He is unable to deliver us. Do we just give up and compromise or take the risk and stand firm in faith with God? Its a tough decision to make. Until you have been in such a position, you will never know what it means to stand alone with God in faith.

However, the good news is that in all these, you are not forgotten by God. It is often said that the bible has everything and all the answers to our life problems. Many people may not believe it until you see yourself in the word. I was in this position and i found a few truths in God’s word which made me stand alone with him.

  1. Hebrews 12:4 “In your struggle against sin, you have not yet resisted to the point of shedding your blood.”

When the temptation comes, we easily feel like giving up. But looking at all the trials and challenges Paul the apostle faced because of His faith, we are admonished that it is preferable to die for the sake of righteousness rather than compromise your faith in God.

  2. 1 Corinthians 10:12-13 “ If you think you are standing strong, be careful not to fall. The temptations in your life are no different from what others experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure.”
  3. Isaiah 46:10 “Only I can tell you the future before it even happens. Everything I plan will come to pass, for I do whatever I wish.”

Even when you stand on these promises, you may still feel as though you are not making the right decision or what if God actually wanted you to take the other path instead of the one you are deciding to take? When you feel this way, always remember:

  4. Psalms 37:23 “The Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives.”
  5. Psalms 138:8 (paraphrased) ”
The Lord will work out his plans for your life. He will not abandon you for he made you.”
  6. 1 Corinthians 2:9 “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man. The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”

I encourage you today to stand firm. Take the risk and do the right thing rather than compromise your faith. Be vigilant of the tricks of the devil to steal your joy and lead you into trying to work out God’s plan for your life. Allow God to do only what he alone can do. Galatians 6:9b”….At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.” Remember there is no “TESTIMONY” without a “TEST”. There is no “MESSAGE” without a “MESS”.  One of the ways you will accomplish your purpose here on earth is through your story or your message and without a “HISTORY”, you will not have a “STORY”. Think about that.

People will insult your commitment and devotion to the Lord. They will insult your faith but I beseech you to stand firm and you will not regret. In case you need someone to stand with you in faith and prayers, kindly drop a message in the message box or send us an email and we will fervently partner with you.

REMEMBER: TAKE THE RISK AND DO NOT COMPROMISE.

Remain Blessed
