I am who I am because I chose to be who I am
I am a Christian.
I have Christian values and Christian standards,
I uphold them not because I’m forced to, compelled to , or demanded to.
But because… I choose to
I choose Love, Joy, Kindness, Goodness, Peace…
I choose Purity and Holiness
I choose to have faith in Jesus Christ and be faithful to him
I choose to beat my body and bring it to submission to him
I choose His way, His truth and His life;
Not the way of the world, not “the truth” of the world, not “the life” of the world
This is who I am, who I want to be, who I’m always going to be…
Because, I choose to.
Choosing Jesus Christ is the best decision anyone could ever make for their lives. But this has to be a personal choice – born out of love for Him. It shouldn’t be a burden, a means to an end, or something done to please someone. It’s a daily decision to love somebody who loved you first, who loved you to death and who still loves you.
Christianity is not a religious activity, it’s not a title, it is a relationship – A love relationship. The deepest and purest kind of love that man could ever receive.
So did you make that decision yet? Did you choose to fall in love with Jesus and commit your heart and soul to Him? Did you start a relationship with Him yet?
