The World May Be Suffering Because of Me

If I am endowed with great ideas and I don’t use them innovatively, the World is suffering because of me.

If I am called to lead organizations, institutions and I don’t lead with integrity, the World is suffering because of me.

If I am called to serve in any field, be it banking, medical and I don’t serve with integrity, the World is suffering because of me.

If I am called to teach people and I don’t teach, the World may be suffering because of me.

If I am called to show people the love of God and I don’t do, the World is suffering because of me.

If I am called to encourage people to follow the right path and I don’t do, the World is suffering because of me.

If I am called to pray for others and I don’t do, the World is suffering because of me.

God has endowed us with a lot of potentials to make our World a better place but many times we fall short of producing fruit with what God has planted in us. No wonder the world has the problems it faces today; corruption, conflicts, strife, oppression etc. Most times we point fingers at others, always blaming them for our problems than ourselves.

There is a wake-up call. We (I inclusive) can make things better only if we start bearing fruit with what God has implanted in us.
In Matthew 25:14-30, the servant who took one bag of silver and did not invest was termed a “Wicked and lazy servant” (vs 26) while the servant who received five bags of silver and invested and earned five more was called a “Faithful servant”. God expects us to use our talents to produce more fruit for His Glory.

What are you doing with your talent? Are you a wicked or faithful servant? The World needs Just YOU and ME to move on!
