Gateways to a World of Exploits.

Hello dear reader,

I am happy that you are here to be enriched and  I am so excited as you are about what God has in store for us this double year 2020. Many people have said a lot of nice things about this year. For me, I believe some of the things that have been said will come to pass but Sometimes I doubt it because of the disappointments of previous years. Some people even told me God specifically sent them to me with the message but it did not come to pass. So where do I stand in this new year? These are the questions I asked myself one evening as I sat by my bed meditating and making plans for the new year. Unlike most other years, I began 2020 without any resolution. I had 3 main prayer requests which I prayed on new year eve then just crossed over into the new year with one sentence in my heart “Lord I don’t know what my life will be this year but I have no plans of my own I am just waiting to see what you have in store for me.”

One month already into the new year, I sat at the same position near my bed asking myself what new thing I can do this year to Glorify God and bless humanity? With so many thoughts coming to my mind, I quickly grabbed a pen and jotter to make notes. As I began writing, all the plans that came to my mind seemed unachievable especially regarding the fact that I am in a foreign country. With this, doubts came to my mind and I stopped writing. As I bowed my head to pray, the Holy Spirit directed me to 3 scriptures which forms the basis of this write up today. I believe that as I share it with you, you will be fully equipped to enter a world of exploits this decade where nothing and no one can stop you from achieving your dreams. From the write up last week, we have settled on the  fact that we are blessed for exploits. (Please read last week’s article “Blessed for Exploits”).  Today I will be going deeper into our realm of exploits. So stay with me as we ride on.

1.) Daniel 11:32 “he will flatter and win over those who have violated the covenant. But those who know their God shall be strong and shall do exploits”

2.) Psalms 2:8  NLT “only ask and I will give you the nations as your inheritance , the whole earth as your possession.”

3) Isaiah 30:29-30 KJV ” you shall have a song as in the night when a holy festival is kept and GLADNESS OF HEART as when one goes with a flute, to come into the mountain of the Lord…then the Lord will cause His Glorious voice to be heard…”

From these 3 scriptures I picked out 3 key things which I am holding on to this year to achieve my dreams.

  1. Knowledge of God (Daniel 11:32): I don’t know how else to stress on this point. Many young people these days do not have the habit of reading. Most of us want our pastors to read our bibles for us so we just wait to hear what the pastor or prophet has said for this year. What God may say to a pastor may be for the Church as a whole and not for you as an individual so we should make a conscious effort to know God more in His word and prayer so that you can get from Him exactly what He wants you to do this year. The knowledge of God is the first key to a world of great exploits so do not despise it.
  2. A Limitless Mentality (Psalms 2:8). If you are in a foreign country like me then you can easily relate with this. Sometimes we have many plans but the thought of racism, tribalism, etc kills our plans because we know it may be difficult to achieve them. But I wish to share this great news with you and it is the promise our father has said. That we should make those plans and only ask Him to bless them.  He will give us the nations as our inheritance. Meaning when you recognize who you are in Christ, there is no immigration law that will limit your plans from coming to pass. The whole earth is your possession. So as you make those plans and ask God to bless them, be sure that you have the ability to travel to any country as you wish to accomplish the God ordained plan. However, the condition is point 1 (knowledge of God through His word and Prayer).
  3. A heart of Gratitude (Isaiah 30:29-30): “You shall have a song in the night…and Gladness of heart…then the Lord will cause His Glorious voice to be heard”.  The problem Humanity is facing  is the  inability to rejoice in the strength  of the Lord. We delight in complaining, forgetting what God has in store for us. If He complained before sending His son to die on the cross will it have done any good? The children of God in this generation complain a lot and they hardly let God have his way. We give in to negative thoughts and depression easily sets in so we can’t hear God’s voice. Therefore  we should learn to stay in the place of gratitude so that we can hear the voice of God and receive direction for our lives.

Ever since I understood these 3 key scriptures, I have had peace of mind knowing that when I apply what I have learned/understood from there, God will definitely honor His word in my life and make me a wonder to my generation. Following last week’s post, you know you are blessed for exploits so  I urge you dear reader to put all these tips to work and I look forward to hearing your testimony.

Remain forever blessed
