Hello readers, It’s good to have you back on board.
1.) Yes…. we made it to November, the 11th month of the year. Wow the terrible 2020 is finally coming to an end. But what have I really achieved this year? I can’t tell. All my plans were put on hold because of COVID. Made plans to travel, own a business, marry, etc. but the year just came and there was so much chaos. I have no hopes about what these last days of the year will be. What other news do I expect to hear that I have not heard this year? Should I give up concerning my plans for this year or should I trust God’s word that He crowns the year with His goodness?
2.) It is the 11th month of the year already and I am still at the same position. I thought things will be better this year. Last year, no career progression. This year, the same thing. What is going on? My mother is sick, and I don’t know how I will take care of her. I feel so desperate. This rich guy wants to marry me. Marrying him will solve half of my problems but I don’t know if he is the one for me. I have prayed but it’s like God is not hearing this particular prayer. Maybe I should just go ahead and marry him. After all what is there? Is it not to wear a ring on my hand and save my mother’s life?
3.) I have this job which is okay but I want a better experience. I have been offered this new position with a mouth watering salary, in a better place. I think it will give me the exposure I need but I don’t seem to find peace each time I think about taking the job. I have many responsibilities to handle and the money will help me. So what should I do?
These scenarios listed above are some of the issues we may be facing right now and we do not know what to do. In fact, it is a valley of decisions. You are in between two hills and you don’t know which hill to cross as you can’t see the other side of the hill. Or it is like you are in a dark tunnel and you know there is light at the end of the tunnel but you can’t find your way through the dark tunnel.
Dear friend I wish to encourage you today with 10 powerful scriptures to hold on to in this season. I can’t start telling you which decision to make over the other. I just want to let you digest the word of God, feel His soothing presence and then act in the direction you feel most convicted to act by the spirit of God.
